Buddying Scheme
Each year the isoc runs a scheme to put freshers in contact with an older student at Cambridge, who is not necessarily on their course or at their college, but is there as a friend to answer any questions, give some advice, and help you ease into living in Cambridge.

Freshers' Week Events
Freshers' Fair
Date: Tues 4th and Wed 5th October
Time: 10am - 6.30pm (Tue)
10am - 3pm (Wed)
Venue: Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre, Main hall, Row G
Come to the Isoc stall at the Freshers' Fair where you can speak to current Isoc students, sign-up to the mailing list and get a free goodie bag!
Squashes
We get as many of you as possible into one room, and unroll the festivities - there'll be two events, one for the brothers and one for the sisters!
Date: Thursday 6th October
Sisters
- Tour: 5pm, meet at Emmanuel Porter Lodge
- Squash: 7-9.30pm, Newnham College
Brothers
- Tour:5pm, meet at Queen's Porter Lodge
- Squash:7-9.30pm, Bowett Room, Queen's College
FREE HALAL PIZZA!!!
Football (for the guys)
Date: First (and every) Friday of term
Venue: Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre
£1.10 to be paid at reception, £2.00 to be paid to the brother in charge
FRESHERS' DINNER
Date: Saturday 8th October
Time: 5.30pm - 9pm
Venue: St. Columba's Hall (near Emmanuel College)
A great opportunity to welcome the first years to Cambridge Sh Abdal Hakim Murad will also be saying a few words at the start of a new year; and the food will be fantastic, so don't miss out!
*Please note that there will be an entry fee of £6 for non-freshers only.*
